I have tears in my eyes from laughing so hard at this. After the first two lines I was like "he has to be drunk" then he confirmed it. It's okay, we won't judge you! Drunk rants are the best rants!

I will not be disgraced by being a Packers fan because of what a few wastes of skins have done. I will be responsible for MY actions, not theirs. If some want to be pussies and cower down because of those fucktards, so be it, you're PATHETIC and a weak fan.

And you wonder why I have little love loss for the Favre "apologist" sector of Packer nation. Props to Aaron for putting up with all that BS and still wanting to be in Green Bay. Makes me damn proud he is our QB!

This wasn't hundreds of fans ... FANS ... partaking in this bullshit.

Who said anything about cowering down? Who said anything about taking responsibility for what those assholes did? What the hell does this statement even mean?

All I said is that this situation showed that Packers fans aren't better than anyone else. We're all human and we're all prone to demonstrating the darker sides of the pack mentality, whether we want to admit it or not. Whether you want to call it humbling oneself or not, I think having a realistic perspective on human nature and one's own humanity is healthy.

It's convenient for people to say now, in retrospect, that it was only a tiny minority of fans who were angry about the Favre situation, but based on what I saw on TV and read online, I don't personally believe that. I think the minority was much larger than people are willing to admit, now that they've been proven to be fools. It's pretty rare to find someone with the courage to confess they were wrong about the situation, though we've had a couple of brave souls on this site do so, and I respect them for it.

One thing that has obviously come out of this is unity. Unity of the fans reading this blog that weren't in the truck-keying, hate-mailing, wannabe-legbreaker category, and most importantly, unity of the team. You could hear Jennings and Grant and Woodson talking about this with passion, that it was their QB, their leader. This brought the team closer together, and you can bet your ass that if Rodgers would have handled it differently, the entire thing would have changed. It brought a massive amount of respect into the locker room.
Green Bay: Home of the Green & Gold. And the hunter orange. And the camouflage.

All the BS that Aaron took is what really helped me rally behind him. I laugh for us who will remember this 15 years from now when all the same people will be booing Rodgers replacement. IDIOTS!

To some of us, being a Packers fan means something. If you don't get that, you don't get it.

I think Packers fans are like any other fans in the NFL. You have a group of hardcore fans (may be the Packers have a bigger group of these than other teams) but then you have a lot of idiot fans. I know we would all love to believe that Packers fans are "different" but we probably are not, its sad but true. I bet some of those fans that were boo'ing Favre in Lambeau last year were some of the same fans boo'ing Rodgers in 2008 - meaning they make no sense and just like to be drama.

Also this article confirms what I've said all along that Rodgers couldn't have handled the whole Favre situation any better. He's handled it with class and done everything right. Even after the losses last year, he was classy and didn't trash Favre. Great QB, even better character it seems.

Human nature doesn't change, RedSoxExcel. The very same people who were laying down palm branches before Jesus on Sunday morning to shouts of "Hosanna! Hosanna!" -- proclaiming him King of the Jews -- were screaming, "Crucify him! Crucify him!" and howling, "We have no king but Ceasar!" on Friday afternoon.

Mucky Tundra (12h) : *to be able
Mucky Tundra (12h) : and because it's not a dynasty league (which makes a lot more sense to be ability to trade picks)
Mucky Tundra (12h) : Oh I know; I was just exploring and it blew my mind that you could trade picks because of the whole reordering thing

beast (2-Aug) : Jerry Jones is infamous for ̶n̶e̶g̶o̶t̶i̶a̶t̶i̶n̶g̶ chatting with players one on one... and going around the agent.
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : Oo just saw a blurb saying that Dallas negotiated directly with Parsons and not through his agent
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : I assumed that both guys will get paid, just a matter of when or how we get there
Zero2Cool (1-Aug) : McLaurin nor Micah going anywhere. They will get money
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : the Synder years or do they take care of one of their own?
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : Do the Commanders risk losing a top WR with an emerging QB just because he's turning 30 and potentially risk damaging the rebuild from
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : Turns 30 this September, plays at a high level and Washington has some cap space I believe
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : More interesting is Washington with Terry McLaurin
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : I would imagine Dallas will resolve this issue with a truckload of money

Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : if PH dies, there is packerpeople com available
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : database is on new host, eventually website will follow
Mucky Tundra (30-Jul) : Zero, regarding Ewers, you are correct.
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Sadly, this might be our life for awhile. I could put it on another host, but seems it was slower, although more stable
beast (30-Jul) : How long will it be down?
beast (30-Jul) : RIP site 😭
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Site will die, I have to restart it.
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Quinn stinks. Lot of underthrows. (my guess)
beast (30-Jul) : How did Quinn Ewers effect where Golden was drafted?
dfosterf (30-Jul) : All I've experienced was late at night or early morning. I just figured you were doing something in the background
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Site sure seems to be down more than up
dfosterf (29-Jul) : 50 cent hookers? I'm moving to Green Bay. I thought it was just real estate that was more affordable there. 😂
Zero2Cool (29-Jul) : Sure seems site going down more than 50¢ hooker
