^ See that kind of raises my point for me: the source from wikipedia is a NY Times article, which only states he was a Vikings fan - "was" being the key word, as in past tense.

From what I have read the past few years, he is pretty adamant that he is no longer the fan of 1 particular team.

People claim he is a well known Vikings fan - implying he still is a fan. I was just curious if I missed something where he came out and stated he still supports the Vikings.

But with Florio, I had nothing to suggest he still maintained even some semblance of an interest / passion for the Vikings. I did not want to assume that because he was once a fan, he would forever feel some passion to a team. He may, or he may not - I would rather not jump to conclusions based on things I cannot be sure about.

Wils clearly shows that it is the former (he retains some passion / loyalty). Up until a few moments ago, I had not read anything usggesting he still had some fondness for the Vikings.

He's pretty buddy-buddy here with Paul Allen at KFAN here in Minneapolis, MN and it seems like he still enjoys watching and rooting for his squad.

Florio + Seifert = crappy, viking loving, writers who bend backwards for drama

they'll report this and call Rodgers an A-hole, but leave out all the good things he does.

my beef is that alot of people will read that and believe that he is what Florio makes him out to be.

Florio bugs the piss out me and I can't stand the crap he writes. His Vikings fandom takes over during the season and some small video and article like this can tarnish a player. Strictly written to ruin a good moment for a great player and person.
