I've logged quite some hours on Madden 09, but it really is a video game. It isn't a simulation. I'd give the Madden 10 demo a shot. Apparently, it's way more sim-like. I don't know, since I haven't played it myself, but it does look very good.

I've played the full 5 min gamestop pre-order demo tons now. And it does not "suck." The game speed is set to the slowest speed possible(said to be 13% slower than Madden 09 was) and the normal speed is only 5% slower. So just keep that in mind.

Pro-Tak I thought was an over talked addition. But its really, really good. Really makes for some great gang tackles. Theres finally an actual pocket that forms for the QB. Signature throwing styles, stances, and even signature kicker stances all add that much to the experience.

I feel really good about Madden 10.

Spoilers: The Packers win the division at 7-9 and lose to the Redskins in the divisional round. Wouldn't that be hilarious? We only improved our record by one win and still somehow win the division.

Not that I think Madden is an accurate way to predict a season. Just funny is all.

getting the 5 minute demo right now to try it out. My neighbor gave me his code from his pre order. But damn it takes forver to download the damn thing.

Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)
